trop cool

hi there :)

its exactly what we try to explain to the non hardbooters what is the % of times you ride groomed or flat slopes? 80% and what is the kind of board you ride? the board made for the small 20% of powder, or mixed snow... Meaning: why don't anyone get a board for those 80% times...? still a mistery ! y...

bike

not the one with the engines, but the one you turn the legs around an axis :) i'm going to work by bicycle, and its a short trip ( 4km ) but the way back home as a hill so huge that lasts 2 km, that it kills the speed down to 12 km/h during the climb. Needless to say, i'm improving the average speed...

Hmmm hard to say

Its more a weight thing than a lengh thing.. You're both light and not as tall as J or me... The problem is usually, smaller race boards are stiffer, and have shorter radius which makes EC turns very fast and hard to manage.... I ride the 172 oxygen proton, which needs juice to carve , even if its a...

indeed

tsu, the silberthing is ok, just try to get the widest race board you can.. the new blast from hot for example is cheap and 19.5 or .7..You'll be able to train EC then when you outrun your board, will be time for the EC board ;)

goood news guys !!

as I already said, its possible to do EC turns with race boards, but the angles it asks on the shoes makes it less efficient than on a wider board.. not to mention the torsion control that is always dependent to the flex... I succeeded frontside on a 19cm blast, but the backside had my boots draggin...

well...

Hey Rob

I don't have the experience of J&P, but i can say that since I adopted this technique, it changed my way of riding in every situation. I tried it on different swallowtails i tried last winter, and it went perfectly.. I could even EC some of them ( my 196) when the grommed was good... Also when i wen...
