Okay, I will bring the hard boots. I am also thinking of going to Bad Gastein for the World Cup race on Jan. 9. Worth it? I'm having trouble finding a hotel room there. Is it a very crowded resort?

Hello everyone. I am riding in europe for the first time soon and would appreciate some advice. I am headed to Lanersbach in a couple of weeks. Any advice on snowboarding there? Is it well groomed and friendly for carving? I can only bring one board so it is either a Kessler gs 180 or Kessler bx 168...
