Next questions - how racers are controlling the speed and stability? - is it possible to change direction before turn completion without applying race technique elements such as counter-rotation, drifting etc. when riding with similar speed? Question 1: I think stability can not really be controlle...

Tiger, what your experience tells you about counter-rotation? There is a big difference between racing and freecarving. When you ride free you try to carve the whole turn and you control your speed by crossing the slope line nearly at right angle. On the race track the gates force you to initiate t...

My question "Who are you?" is serious. Are you an instructor? Or trainer? Or something? ...neither trainer nor instructor, I think "something" is very close  In the "golden age of alpine snowboarding (tm)" we had no youtube and no website about extremecarving (the word wasn't even invented). ...

I like this riding style very much. It's really versatile, it looks good and it feels very good to ride. Maybe we should meet for a SL-board session some time, I think this could be great fun :) There is no counter rotation that I´m aware of. I agree that there is no significant counter rotation but...

What do the push/pull riders say about "absorbing" the bumps? What position would the upper body be in? You can push/pull in the rhythm of the waves. You have to be in the lowest position on top of the wave then push between them. As fruno said, it's a little bit like skiing on a mogul slope, your ...

I wanted to know how YOU (and others on this board) would carve over such bumps! As long as the bumps are hard enough you can clear them when you stay flexible in your knees. just avoid full extension of your legs and do not do any counter-rotation. It's the same technique when you ride a worn-out ...

Wie kommst du auf 70 CHF Vorteil? Weil Du das in deiner post so mal 'Handgelenk * Pi' selber kalkuliert hast... :) ...
