Wanted: Car ride Zinal -> Sierre on 2.2 Monday

Hey all,

can someone offer a car ride from Zinal down to Sierre on Monday 2.2? I should be on the railway station latest at 14.15 pm. Or is someone going to Zurich airport at the same day? Surely I will pay a decent price for the ride.

Thanks,
Kari

Somewhere in the Alps

It was somewhere in the Alps. Actually the jump was a mistake. The skier himself (Fred Syversen) explains the situation here:

Hello Mabu, IMHO, Levi is not the best ski resort for carving in Finland. Out of the high season it is quite allright, but by far not the best one. During the holiday season it is sometimes really crowded and also fairly expensive resort. Like Pokkis said, Ylläs and Suomu are more attractive places....

Yes yes, right. But if you want/need to use only one alpine (which is Swoard, of course), you can easily take a freeride board and soft boots inside Europe as well. I have been flying many times with two set-ups. Especially in Zinal, it is easy and trouble-free to change the gear during the day. You...

It is quite many years ago when I visited Verbier. During that time, the best area was Bruson: pretty good offpiste possibilities, one good carving slope and not that crowded than other areas.

Eventhough, also Bruson might be changed since then but it could be good idea to check it out.
