Heh, it's starting to sound like there's some secret know-how to this sport and now by some accident I've gotten into the 'know'. I'm afraid there is no quick path to nirvana, it's all about first learning the basics, then building on that and trying to pick the best of the advice from fellow trench...

Hi Hans!
Since I'm no prophet nor have the Instructor jacket to be preaching for the masses, I just sent you a short PM of the observations we have made this season that have helped me improve. :P

Thanks for the compliments, prophets of the east :D There's finally some (ok a lot) of progress on the back side turn after zinal. Great tips from you guys and from secretly peaking from the cups of Vin Chaude to what EvGen was demonstrating on the lift station have been a significant help to the ri...

As said, I have the same angles for both bindings. But theoretically, if Fuego-test allows, you could result in 45 F / 50 R angles 8O
Most likely the differences won't be that dramatic though.
I guess this is the new school :D

Yes.

Getting pressure on the cant is the point. And when you have your heels / toes as close to the cant as possible, you get better pressure on the cant, compared to the situation where you have bigger angles

The center width is 22.5cm and the sidecut radiuses most likely 11.5/14.2/13.2m. I'm 186cm tall and the stance width as I recall is around 51cm at the moment (had 53.5cm and last season Rey suggested me to narrow it down, which I did for this season and it does help. So remember to listen to the Pro...

The Board is a 177cm Coiler VSR.
It has a slight rocker nose, variable sidecut radius (hence the name VSR) with 3 different sidecuts and sweet titanal layer. Grips really easily 8)

Yesss. ACSS and it works like a charm. I have not modified the boots by cutting away plastic, since I haven't felt any need for that.
If you mean setting as ACSS setting, there's really nothing to tell. The springs are quite loose - I like them that way.

Spring carving photos.

It's nice when you start to have more light and sunshine in the spring - even up in the north! The backside is improving http://saavi.jotainkivaa.net/teNp/107.jpg http://saavi.jotainkivaa.net/teNp/mah_fingahtips.jpg http://saavi.jotainkivaa.net/ojakoli11/images/_MG_0016_Edit.jpg :) Happy carving, su...

I can also recommend ACSS as a better alternative to the BTS for EC.

As feedback was also requested, here's my 5 cents worth; Some time with after processing would not have hurt, at least fixing the white balance and brightness of many of the images. Also at least when publishing the images in web resolution, the original resolution would likely allow a bit tighter c...

Great customer care Abrax for calling about my worries. Thanks! With Raicle 324, when you test the flex backwards, it seems there could be around 1-2mm less of the screw o the rod for _maximum_ movement allowed by the shell. In practice I am sure this will not pose any problem (most likely it would ...
