Given that my weight is quite low with 68kg, is it not wiser to go for the shorter board?

Hi all, i have read all the board selection tables and read a lot of forum entries about which board to choose. But still not 100% sure which one I am 174cm, shoe size 41, 68kg 168M is my current favourite from all my research. But it seems rather long compared to what i ride now. Or shall I rather ...
