Why not just pick the ones you're interested in and go out for some riding...

The opening with testival in Sölden is on first weekend of november (3./4.11.). But I've read that a few slopes are already open... Maybe you could go to Kaunertal, the dates for Kaunertal-Opening are 12.10. - 14.10. this year.

Hey, got another idea if you're afraid of scratches: My girlfriend got some new ski at the end of last season. They have some kind of...ehm, "uneven" surface, like sandpaper. Has anyone ever seen this on boards? I like the design and I think it could be quite robust... well, at least it LOOKS quite ...

Just removed the canting from my bindings and now I wonder if the boots have to be centered on the bindings. I've got the Virus UPZ boots and I just realized a little mark in the middle of the sole-length... Maybe it's for the use of that hybrid-boot in ski-bindings, maybe not. Any ideas?

Hatte es etwas ZU nötig, auf die Piste zu kommen, nachdem ich kurz vor Weihnachten saugünstig ein Virus Hurricane Ultimate erstanden hatte. Bin vor kurzem auf die Idee gekommen, dass es vielleicht interessant wäre, anstatt immer nur irgendwo mitzufahren und auf die Trips zu warten, einfach mal selber einen zu organisieren. Jetzt nicht nur im Kleinen unter Freunden, sondern so richtig mit Bus usw. Hat das von euch schon mal jemand gemach...

War mit dem Ding an sich absolut zufrieden (eigentlich war ich sogar begeisert :D ), aber trotzdem hab ich gleich bei der ersten Fahrt Bekanntschaft mit dem doch recht harten Eis gemacht... Nic...

I'll be around on Saturday that weekend. Just started alpine boarding last season with an old Oxygen board and it was sheer madness, compared to riding a freeride-board. So I can't wait to try some Virus-Snowboards :twisted: Guess there will be hundreds of thousands of people in Sölden, that weekend!?

Hey guys, got some question on the Carveboard: Is it possible to take these boards off-road and go carving down some smoothe grasslands? I did not try any conventional mountainboard so far, but I don't think that it would come that close to carving?!
