We invite you to take part in the second all-Russia (and not only Russia) session of carving snowboard - eCarv 2011.
The dates of the event are: 14-19 February 2011 - the city of Yekaterinburg - Ski station Ezhovaya and google Maps.
Why go there?
To ride, have fun, make friends, meet old friends, exchange experience, and, of course, to learn. Especially for you, during the whole session we will have lessons and master classes of the best riders from Yekaterinburg and Moscow.
How to get there?
- By air to the Koltsovo International Airport (SVX, Yekaterinburg), or by train to the rail station "Yekaterinburg city";
- then individually by taxi from the airport/railroad station to the Ezhovaya Ski Station (about 100 km and ~2000 rubles for a car, one way), or by an organised Transfer, here you will need to contact the event organisers in advance and give them information about the time of your arrival and number of people. The trasfer price will depend only on the number of riders and class of the required bus (e.g. a Russian GAZel for up to 8 passengers will be ~600-800 rubles per person one-way).
How much?
7 000 rubles (package) - accommodation in standard double occupancy rooms, per person, of the hotel"Sedmaya polyana" at the foot of the Ezhovaya Hill, during 14-19 february (5 nights) + breakfasts (buffet) + unlimited ski-pass. Free transfer Hotel-Hill-Hotel.
9 000 rubles (package) - for one person living in the double room.
5 000 rubles (package) - accomodation in economy class double occupancy rooms (with shared whashrooms on the floor), per person.
If you can come only for 2-3 days, then the price of the package is prorated accordingly (divide by 5 and multiply by the desired day/night attendance).
Food/catering?
The cafe on the hill is open till 10:00 pm and offers a substantial lunch/dinner for about 250-300 roubles per person. At the hotel restaurant, an average non-food-maniac meal costs 500-700 rubles.
Program:
February, 14, 2011 - Ride at your convenience as participants arrive and check in. Cocktail-Opening Ceremony at 6:00 pm in the hotel "Sedmaya polyana", situated at the foot of the Ezhovaya hill. Introducing participants, questions and answers.
February 15, 16, 17, and 18.
- 12.00 pm - 4.00 pm - Study. Master-classes. (schedule and groups will be determined on the hill depending on the level of the participants). Every day we (the slope will be open only for carvers!!!) will have a separate reserved slope (and a lift). The slope length is circa 700 m, vertical drop is circa 180 m. At the top, the slope has circa 32 degrees, then flattens from 20 to 15 degrees.
- 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Ride at your convenience.
- 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm - a routine commenting of the participant riding technique using the filmed video on the big screen, accompanied by tea/coffee and biscuits. There will be photo/video recording of the riders on the slope.
February, 18 - the Final Party . About 9:00 pm we will start the final hookah bar: watching the shooted paraprofessional videos, a hundred-and-fiftieth-time discussion of the equipment and pricelists, breathtaking stories about one's enlightenment in push-pull and breakthrough in layng backside turns on the slope, promises to meet again next year, fraternization, followed by various off-scenario improvisations.
February, 19 - The Second stage of the Open Cup of the Ezovaya Hill in slalom (SL). (All survivers from the February 18th Final Evening Mega-Party are welcome to participate))
After lunch (sorry) we'll have to part.
