Better than Sika 252 and Covergom

Post by joemzl » Friday 1 April 2016, 14:56

Nearly every better rider tries to protect his clothes against destroying on the slopes.
For now, most of them use Sika 252 or Covergom. But that is only a better makeshift.

Now I heard of Sika Latex Power. Easy to apply and several layers on the gloves are more durable than Sika 252.
And best is, it´s nearly invisible. Not as clear as Covergom and not as milky as Sika Latex but something in between.

Does anybody still test it?

Hmmmm, it says "suitable for use in tropical and hot climatic conditions"....definitely looks like this winter season...I'm in!
So, is it right that they are going to use cement for artificial snow-making next season?

Maybe I can get a sample a bit earlier.
I would fill it in a bottle and take it with me to Hintertux in December.
So everyone can test it there.

Liquid rubber from Bison is great! Soft, durable and easy to put on gloves.
Big pants, duck stance… No chance!

That is the best so far.
You´ll get the best result if you heat coated part with the hot air heater and Bison tube with warm water.

In fact, I started this thread as a joke. :D
But sometimes reality outruns someone. 8O

My friend Alex tested Nautichem S40 and here are the results:

He didn´t test it on the gloves, but for now he is all over satisfied with Nautichem.
