Camber longevity of the Swoard

Post by fivat » Thursday 13 November 2003, 21:47

In the French forum, there is a thread about the longevity of the Swoard, in particular about the camber. I think that some of you could be interested by the following traduced message and the picture attached.

Here is a photo of my Swoard used last season. This is the board that we see in all my 2003 photos. I have been carving for more than 30 days with this board, and only with this one, maltreating it to test its ageing and solidity :evil2:

The camber has not changed! It's very different from many flat boards we get after one season, in other brands... Even Jacques' protos I have been using during two seasons are still in very good state with still excellent performances on snow!

The only limitation is the wear of the edges after frequent sharpening! It's crazy to have to throw a board away just because of the used edges...

Then pay attention to the stones at season beginning! :alien:
