Hi there
I posted a message about finding a good EC board on the mainstream market about a year ago or so and I now think that I have found a board that nearly maches your 168 model: the burton Speed 6.8 225. Its got nearly the same lenght and width as yours. not sure about the sidecut radius though. Is there any comment anyone would like to make as to why the performance of that burton board should be dissimilar to the swords one?
keep on riding

Surfiver,
I'm curious about that Burton since I don't see it in the Burton catalog...
What are the specs ? I thought Burton stopped making alpine boards!
Nils
PS : As you might have noticed, our 168 matches a certain kind of rider (size/feet size and weight), when any other 168 has one flex... So just my opinion, but it's hard to compare what is not comparable... I'd say you can compare the Swoard 168 M, for example, to a custom board that would have been made for a rider of the same weight range (64-76 kilos) and same size (172-181cm).

Radius
As I may remark a radius of 10 meters is too small for EC-ing, at least look for something above 12 or even higher!! Also the the Burton Speed you are talking about is extremely stiff so more more suited for middle long slalom racing than EC.
