Nice video! Narrow boards could be be fun. I had a lot of fun on Black Death this year.
Carving=fun, no matter what kind of board do you ride or the tehnique you use. To claim that one board/tehnique is better than other is so childish.
People carve on soft also, and carve well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NALf6c ... re=related

I'd like to see anyone pull off somthing better on those slopes you were shooting in (not exactly perfect le col...). Go skwal! Go Mattias!

And yeah - you can do extreme carving on the skwal. Belly, hip is whatever - splitting hairs.

What's your point? This thread was calm for 6 weeks. Do you really need to prove something here with such an aggressive post?

We have many skwal friends around and I ride sometimes with some of them like "sam.mail". So please keep the peace and stop your ego thing about carving. Thanks.

Note that we see pictures of snowboarders laid on frontside (isolated turn) with the body facing the tip since the nineties.

Videos are showing much more and are a better basis for discussion.

My point is - nice extreme carving Mattias!
Sorry I didn't post six weeks ago then.

Let`s be honest :-) this is nice laydown turns. Let Mattias do those turns linked, from armpit to armpit on the slope 25-30 degrees.

Remember :-) snowboard is invented for fun, not for flame wars on the internet :-)

Ironically - I saw him do it today in Oppdal!
Pokkis can maybe post some pics?

Still not relax? I have re-read the entire thread and we clearly see who the aggressiveness comes from.

Cool down please and take example on the other skwal riders like "sam.mail" on this Forum.

Misunderstanding

Post by Hans » Friday 6 March 2009, 21:13

I think there is some misunderstanding here. I think Skwalleur is just pointing out this very nice pic of this skwaller :clap2: and vid which has been posted here. Nothing more nothing less

Met a very polite skwal guy on my holiday in Austria last week. We did some nice cathing up together making deep trenches (skiers were not happy). His board was just about 2,5cm smaller than mine.

Let people judge the entire thread by themselves, Hans. I'm acting here as a moderator and see clear aggressiveness against some guys who posted their replies in the beginning (those guys were OK with no bad words in expressing their opinion).

This is an example that speaks by itself.
It's time to close this thread.
