Plan to be in Europe

Post by Shred Guumer » Wednesday 27 March 2002, 18:51

Hey, kids Shred here!
I am in the process of booking a trip along with three others. My first choice was Flims Laax Falera, I visit family in Soluthurn so i am confortable traveling in this area thats why we picked this place and was very accessable no need for a car. Also heard that this is a very big and good place to carve. Austria Schladming is also good as I heard from F2. But rather be in Switzerland and land in Zurich. It is the cheapest fight for us.

I will be in the area on 2003 Jan 31- Feb 9th

Any info on Flims would be helpful!!!!!!!!! :?:

So let me get this straight, Switzerland being the Size of Ohio, where im living. no one has everbeen to this place or tell me how well the grooming in Switzerland is. I gotta tell it kinda strange. I pretty much seen everything there is to see in Ohio and a ton of other states as well. Don't you guys get out much? :(

ps. Send the phumli, Kirsch and bunderfleish, and some Villa Prune! Im running out of Emmental for the fondue too.

Hi Shred Guumer,
I've never been in Flims or Laax, so I don't know anything about this place.
But if you have any precise question, I can call the tourist office or look for their phone number for you.

I have a question. What does the word "grooming" mean?

Flims

I've never been to the Laax-Flims area.

What I do know is that the whole area is south-exposed, with the usual consequences for snow quantity and quality.
Also top lifts reach good height (around 3000 metres) and a considerable part of the area is above 2000m.

A good site to start looking for other people's opinion on resorts is
