Yes, some from Ceski Tesin, Brno, Martin, Pardubice, and some just next to Bratislava. And more than 20 riders (out of +70) able to do EC in Poland ;)

In February I've spent one week riding on Tatrzańska Łomnica's Lomnicke Sedlo ;)

There is also a very nice slope in Oravice.

Where are you from?

Please stay tuned, we organize 2 events in Poland. One is Polish Carving Session in the beginning of the season and the other Krynica Karving Days in the beginning of March. It would be nice if you could join us in the future :-)

There were 1 guy from Czech and one from Slovakia on PCS and 2 other Czech guys in the last week in Krynica :-)

Guys, do you meet to ride together? Is there any meeting space? Where do you set up meetings?

We use our forums at na-krawedzi.pl where we organize some events. Feel free to join us, you are welcome.

Maybe you would consider coming to our Polish Carving Session V in January 2014?

We would love to join you with my EC friends :-)

Well, there aren´t many of us anymore. We re kind of mixed Slovak-Austrian group.

Lots of folks quit, lost motivation, got injured or travelled abroad. We used to meet up at Schieferwiese in Spital am Semmering (Stuhleck). There are still plenty of carvers, but nothing organised. You can meet up to 15 carvers on the slopes of stuhleck on a good day, mostly former racers, but also newbies. We even had a testday at Zauberber this year.

This year was pretty poor considering organised meeting, there were only three of us at most riding together on one day. Hope this gets better next year, some people we used to ride with are pommising the comeback!

BTW, none of us is a real EC rider

Ahoj Soson(e),

I am living in Germany, but I am originally from Czech Republic (Ostrava) where I have been living for ca. 20 years ;). So you can speak also Czech to me...

The nearby mountains (Beskydy, Velka Fatra) were not what the Alps are, that's why I'm now in Lenggries 8)

You can contact me anytime regarding EC, Swoard, or just a talk.

Nazdar,
Petr

Hey there

i bought a F2 Silberpfeil Vantage, trying to e-carve. Would like to share some knowledge because i cannot get that low as you can see on videos.
So i was also wondering wheter that is because of the slope quality.

and unfortunatelly all Swoard events are so far-away from my hometown.

BTW I am in Bratislava, ready to drive in radius of 300km almost any day :-)
Is there a nice slope with a good snow these days ?

thanx

Great!

Unfortunatelly the end of season is behind the door, but we will be riding at Stuhleck on Friday and Sunday. The only thing which could go different is the snow, if there is powder, we will be in the trees. Not sure about the conditions these days though

As I said, feel free to join us, If you want to, send me a personal message and we can arrange somtehing!

The weather should be just fine tommorow and I hope the slopes are ok too.

We went to CarvingMasters for few times, it is a great event. The only drawback was that it always made me wanna buy some new stuff afterwards

so maybe i will try Stuehleck, there should be even some snow.

its a pity there are not so many events around, maybe we can try to make a small one when new season starts.
And if the polish party is not very far....
