Looking for hard "soft" bindings for DUAL: SP or Flow?

Post by Jazzz » Sunday 1 July 2012, 15:49

I am comparing SP Fastec SLAB vs Flow NXT-FRX.

Anybody have experience with both?

Flow looks simpler and geometrically more rigid.

SP looks more hi-tech, with more rigid and anatomical asymmetric hiback.

so, any thoughts/expericence, anybody?

My good friend carves with Flow NXT-FRX, he loves them.
I use Bent Metall Step-In, but BM closed freeride series of his bindings at 2008.
In our school we recomend Drake bindings, such as SuperSport, Menthor, Radar, they quiet stiff, comfortable and less expensive.

Thank you.

Drake are classic buckle bindings, I am looking more at step-in or similar - like Flow or SP system.

Sure there are true step-ins,like Klicker and stuff, but they are less rigid after a season or two, and there is nothing you can do about it. Also, more and more brands tend to drop them, as they are not so popular.

Anybody else?
