Thanks, Nils, fluke and of course Niklas behind the camera.. :-)

Nils, I was happy with the M-flex swoard of the first revision when the conditions were a little softer in the slope. But most of the time it's quite hard and I get the F2 to hold the edge better. I suppose a H-flex swoard would be perfect when it's hard and a lot of weight has to be on the front foot.

not sure to follow u, forgot your weight!

usually when snow gets icy or harder, its better to have a softer flex! If you have a harder board, things get bumpy and chatter...
Front foot> EC is to be done on both feet ;)

N!

ps: seems to be cold at this resort brrrrr

That day it was about -5 C. Quite comfortable. Dundret is located about 100km's north of the polar circle. The aurora is visible there and it is rumoured that polar bears roam the streets in the winter. Good thing is that the slopes are empty and well suited for space craving carvers. :P

I notice chatter if I get sloppy in my ride and start to have fully extended legs in the toeside mid turn when the centripetal force are at its peak.

I'd love to try the all new 175H model. Would you like to send me one for evaluation purposes? 8)

Roger

ps. I'm 72 kg.. :-)

Wow - I didn't think it would be possible to do real extreme carves on a Speedster RS 8O . Do you have any boot overhang, or just very high boot angles?

I see from your signature text that you have an F2 Eliminator Ltd 167. What do you think of it?

Bravo ! Great turns ! !

What are your settings on your bindings?
Do you use the Swoard or a more classic race technique ?

Hello Guy,

The Ltd 167 is basically a carving board. Its possible to go very low when the conditions are good and speed is kept moderate.

The swoard has its edge when the conditions are a bit softer, relatively speaking, and the RS when it's harder.

I use quite large angles, minimum possible though, so that there will be no overhang.

Thanks  8)

If I go faster with the board I like the race technique, on the other hand if I want to go low, or EC, I change the style to the push-pull. Settings, hmm, the board is not here right now. About 60 degrees front and a few less on the back.

The pictures were taken with a canon eos 350D at about 3 frames/sec. Add pictures 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg and Hello.jpg together and there you have a nice (but short) video clip. :D

A bad thing about dslr camera's is no possibility for movie capture.
