Hi guys,
Is there anyone here doing body carving with soft boots and duck stance ?
This is what I am learning to do, and wanted to ask for some reccomendation and help.
I ride -15° , +15° on custom 29,5cm board.
Here is what I aleready have learnt:

I want to keep my stance because i ride 2 ways and do butter tricks in the meanwhile
And wanted to ask for some reccomendation on bindings.
My questions:
1.What bindings do you use?
2. Are there bindings that help body carving ?
3. Are you setting highback like this on photo or not ?

Hi mac81
Of course you can carve with duck stance.
Stiff and accurate bindings are recommended, but it's not a matter of setting, you just need the proper technique.
Front side is quite easy, but backside turns is much more difficult (and aesthetically ugly) because of the huge amount of body rotation (twisting) that is required.

For duck stance layed out carves, I would recommend you to head over to the "how to really really carve" YouTube playlist of Ryan Knapton. Especially part 7ff deal with toeside & heelside layed out carves:

Regarding the binding setup for duckstance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxHP5iSJWuM
Eventually you also should look after a wide enough snowboard to prevent a boot out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv-t3Ao-Hg8
If you're interested in the extreme carving technique, where you should prefer a directional stance, this is the referene:
