hi guys,
I think that there may be some of you who can help me,
I have fanatic hard racing snowboard with hard ski shoes, but those shoes are second hand and I have used them on ski, but I'm trying to use them on the snowboard..
however, I'm not sure if those shoes are good - there is a BIG space on the top (please see the attached images) so I'm even able to put my hand there..
When I try to ride the snowboard, it don't respond very nicely because of that free space at the top of the shoes, and I'm not sure if it is not counter productive..
I have tried some new shoes in the shop and there were one model which was great on my foots, no free space at the top and hardness is 80, so I'm considering to buy it BUT do hard snowboard shoes should be free at the top (like my old ones) or not..?
thank you for your help in advance!

hello
No you should be held all the way up inside the boot..Its better to have a full contact with the boot. A solution to not feel crushed inside the shoe, is to keep them not too tight.
