Re: TD2 Titanium

Interesting..... looks nice, anyway, but indeed, what difference does that little weight decrease make? The base plate seems to be strong enough without being made out of Titanium, so this modification seems to be a bit useless..... but at least looks sexy. I think the bails are thicker and made of...

I'm still curious about the validity of snowboard reviews from people who pimp bling-bling ghettofab F2 boards. Ah, well, sleeping time for the children. :D

Dammit, am I the ONLY person from Sweden here? :D I suppose I have to wait until riding a race/fc/ec board becomes mainstream so swedes start showing up here. Wait, by the way, I dont want that - actually

Sweden - the country where you can buy: "in the middle milk".

Re: Some carving pics

Pokkis Moi, Weather has been very poor also in Finland, but we had quite nice time with some friends last Saturday at Messilä. Pics available of some exotic boards in action  http://ojankaivajat.1g.fi/kuvat/Messila+Maddness+8.1+by+Vahur/ From the pictures I noticed that there must have been har...

Re: Lifting again.

Evgeny, Hi. Sorry for bringing it up again. I feel a bit weird. After all discussions and confirmation from various riders about riding flat I still for some reason feel more comfortable riding with a 3 degrees lifting on rear binding. Does anyone else use lifting with Swoard ? Thanks. Yes, I do use...

Re: Stance - How to set your gear?

From my experience riding a wide board and setting the angles too large will lead to bad board behaviour due to the the moment acting on the board as a result of the moment arm between the edge and the force from the heel/toe on the boot. I suppose the moment arm should be as small as possible - thu...

Re: First ride, disaster or pure pleasure?

Harald and István, Hi, (...) In short, the first run feels horrible, almost like a beginner. But the feeling on being on snow again is incredible. So as you understand, the very first run tear down some of the self image that was built up by watching all the videos of perfect turns. Fortunately, som...

Re: Elminiator

István, thanks for the reply. I was both surprised by the board and the rider but maybe it really is a great board. If you have the opportunity, you should give the eliminator a try. I was expecting the eliminator to be a slightly siffer freeride board, but after I set up the bindings correctly I no...
