Re: I should select what BINDINGS
Are you by any chance living in Canada? I remember someone in Bomberonline introducing this Chinese guy in Canada on UPZ and snowpro binding (forgot the board). If you still have snowpro binding, that should be good enough...

BTS is good system as long as the BTS on the back foot is modified to allow more fore flex and on the front foot for more aft flex.

Re: Heard Rumors..
A) Because it is going to cost money. I do not believe Burton will succeed by reproducing old board such as ultra prime... They were not selling well even before 2003 (the reason they closed down the operation). And Burton is currently restructuring, which means that they don't have much money to sp...

Re: Heard Rumors..
Unlikely, since Burton is restructuring. http://www.theskichannel.com/news/featured/20121023/burton-snowboards-announces-restructuring-plan-affecting-analog-gravis-footwear-red-anon-foursquare-forum-and-special-blend/ Besides, burton sold the mould for the race binding. Any sane executive will realis...

Re: It actually worked!!
I don't believe modern soft boot bindings can support more than 30 degrees unless a third strap is added. Tried my other bindings for free carve and I have to say I failed miserably.. Two exceptions as far as I've experienced: flow NXT and catek fr series... I also recon people should start with duc...

Re: How to make skiers ride safer?
I recon one skier getting jailed will solve the problem.
I ski too but some skiers believing they deserve more than snowboarders... Just pure arrogance.

Re: DUAL : Hard or soft boots ?
I've used dual 158 with both soft (k2 t1 flow) and hard (raichle ibex). Overall, I like it with hard setup more. Surely with soft setup dual carved well on soft snow but with hard setup (with softened hardboot with acss spring mod) dual was good on steep and bulletproof ice as well. I run 45/39 on f...

Re: CATEK quality and general questions
I have Catek os2 binding and free ride 2 as well. Build quality is excellent. 1) seems pretty durable 2) I use Teflon tape and also tighten tilt screws half turn after tightening the centre bolt 3) see 2) 4) people have broken several metal boards while using catek bindings. I avoid using catek on m...

Re: Setting an cuff's shoes for effective EC driving
Oh, I didn't realise you were using google translate... had no problem understanding it, though  Cuff canting is different from binding canting. About canting of the boot: I usually set the canting of the boots after attaching them to the board with preferred angle (53,48) and stance. The reas...

Re: Dual vs production camber boards
I used to have 05/06 custom x, the stiff one (they softened it after 07/08? Can't remember, hasn't shopped free ride boards for quite a while). In short, very capable carver for soft boot boards. Dual can do what you wish to do (according to your description). EC, free carve, mogul, powder, tree, pa...
